SLAGMen’s Leather Denim Run 2024

This years Leather Denim Run 2024 is Friday August 9, at 1:00 PM to Friday August 16, @ 1:00 pm.

Our main event is our annual August Cabin / Camping Leather Denim Run – a casual, friendly social week (or weekend) at an isolated private 130 acre camp an hour east of Sudbury, Ontario (hour west of North Bay).  We are excited to be returning to the location SLAGMen 2023 which allows things will be slightly different this year than years past.

Cabin 4.2 will be ready to go in the new location, there is more space and it’s fully equipped with various loaner equipment to try out, plus there are other areas to do what you like with others. It’s a great time to connect with other leather and adventurous guys of all levels, with no pressure to do anything other than what you want to do with your time there.

This year, it’s August  9 to 16 Friday to Friday .We have 3 large cabins, that sleep up to 20 guys, with single and double beds.  In addition, there are around 50 campsites available for tents on the property.

Guys can come for the full week, just the weekend, or whatever combo you want.  Cost vary for the weekend, or for the full week — refer to he run application for the current costs including Early Bird. The full week is a great deal, considering it includes the 130 acre site with lake, all meals, and space in a cabin with bedding or camp site and shower/toilet provided.

For guys in a little financial assistance need, SLAGMen offers the Joseph Galaz “Send a Guy to Camp” Fund. Contact the Run Coordinator about getting a subsidized rate through our Joseph Galaz scholarship fund.

It’s pretty easy camping — there’s a kitchen with refrigerator, freezer and stove,  propane grills, full running water, showers, and lights in the main cabins.  Electricity only in the other. There is limited access to electricity, but arrangements can be made for anyone with C-pap or other electrical needs. The location off-grid and functions through a combination of solar power, manpower, and generator power (when necessary). Additionally, there are outdoor showers near the main building, a three-seasons washroom with running water, and a number of outhouses scattered about the camp.

While the location is off-grid there is cellular service on site. Only a 30 minute drive to the nearest Tim Horton’s for a coffee and donut fix.
