SLAGMen Run 2017 is now in the history books. 16 men from Canada and US has a great time over the 7 days. Some came for the weekend and others for the week.
We want to thank all attendees for their support, play and hotness. Each of you inspire the organizers to make the run better each year.

Good News – the run is filling up with a variety hot men looking forward to a weekend / week at SLAGMen. There a couple of new additions in the works for this year’s run.
Don’t be left out, you still have time to register. The early bird rates ended on July 1st. Only a slight increase in cost for a regular run rate.
For those in the US, now is the time to visit Canada given the favorable exchange rate.

SLAGMen 2016 is now in the history books. The 5th SLAGMen was a success with all the attendees having a great time together.
17 woofy men from various cities in Canada and the U.S. enjoyed a weekend / week together on a beautiful lake in Norther Ontario, Canada. The weather was perfect for playing indoors and outdoors. The play in Cabin 4, Sling Woodshed and Sons of Capone Cabin was hot and so was swimming in the lake. The lake was the warmest it has been since the start of SLAGMen in 2012.
Plans are in the works for SLAGMen 2017, dates August 10th to 17th. More information will be provided at SLAGMen.ca in early 2017.
SLAGMen Run 2016 – August 11 to 18 (Thursday to Thursday) is in the history books!
Our 2015 Run was great! A week of good weather with enough rain to make things fresh, and a record 19 guys on the weekend! They came from all across Ontario, and as far afield as Michigan and San Francisco! It was a wonderful mixed community of great guys, diverse and interesting, supportive and varied. Central Canada Drummer’s 2015 titleholder was there, along with previous titleholders, guys ranging from beginner to experienced, and ages from 20’s through 60’s.
Once again there will be an opening night cigar and bourbon/whiskey social, the thrills, chills and laughter of Saturday’s People’s Games, interesting scenes on the sidelines, nightly campfires (weather permitting) and lots of socializing.
SLAGMen’s annual August Cabin/Camping Leather Denim Run is a casual, friendly social week (or weekend) at an isolated camp north of Sudbury. With a Cabin 4 (play cabin) equipped with various loaner equipment to try out, plus other areas to do what you like with, it’s a great time to connect with other leather and adventurous men of all levels, with no pressure to do anything other than what you want to do with your time there.
There are 4 large cabins that sleep up to 24 men in single and double beds, plus some tent sites for the more rugged.
Cabins have propane fridges and stoves, full running water, showers, and propane lights. The camp doesn’t have electricity, but thanks to Chuck Hydro and his amazing power generation and distribution system, there are electric lights for Cabin 4 and capacity for running C-pap machines. More details about the run facilities here.
You can come for the full week, just the weekend, or whatever combo you want. 2016 Early Bird prices are now set $165 for the weekend or $365 for the full week – a great deal, considering it includes a private location, generous meals, a bed with bedding provided in a cabin, a big lake with canoes/kayaks, and even a wood heated hot tub to laze in in the evenings! All prices are in Canadian dollars (Yeah! Big bargain for our U.S. guys these days!)

It was over way too quickly, and now the Run is put to bed for the season, ready to hibernate for the winter and start up with detailed planning when the snow melts. The dates are already booked — so start making plans now if you’re thinking of coming. Registration will open in Spring 2016.

25 attend TIED UP IN KNOTS
Our Bondage 101 demo at Sudbury Pride in July was well attended! 25 people showed up from all walks of life, with a great mix of genders, lifestyles, and experience spending time together, learning, and chatting with other interested people..
We went through the different purposes for bondage (sensuous, power play, role play, control, as a challenge to get out of – to name but a few). We considered the different approaches we come at bondage from – artistic, practical, fetish, complete immobilization, etc. And we looked at different materials that work – cotton rope, hemp rope, nylon rope, handcuffs – and materials that are crap to work with (polypropilene rope). We went through basic safety issues, how not to impede circulation, and situations where different bondage types work better than others.
On the practical side our eager demo bottom from Ottawa came in very handy demonstrating wrist ties, leg ties, hog-tying — and how to wriggle out of bondage and show off behind the Demo Top’s back while he’s distracted talking to the audience.
It was fun and friendly, and a great time.
